WHYC FM RADIO (88.5)

A grant received by the Hyde County School System in the late 1970s resulted in the only school-based radio station in North Carolina being established on the campus of Mattamuskeet High School. Students obtain hands-on experience in the field of radio broadcasting. School activities/current events as well as local news are provided along with a variety of musical selections.
