Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle
The name Windsor Castle derives from John Gray who owned the property as early as 1729. He jokingly gave the name to an eight-room log cabin which he built on the site for use as a summer house. When Patrick Henry Winston purchased the site from William Gray in 1858, he built the present house, retaining the name.
